A Little About Ourselves....
The Village of Rudolph was not incorporated until 1960.  However, the Rudolph Vol. Fire Dept., Inc. was incorporated in 1947.  We are not a "Village Owned Fire Department, we are incorporated and have our own Board of Directors.  When the RVFD was chartered in 1947, there was 1 truck and 23 people.  Today we have grown to approximately 100 personnel and over 20 Trucks.
Back in the begriming of the RVFD we did not have much income and it was difficult to keep the Fire Department going.  At one point the department did not have enough funds to pay the heating bill.  The members each chipped in a little money to keep heat in the building so the water in the trucks would not freeze
That same type of dedication from today's volunteer's is what keeps the great reputation of this department going throughout the State of Wisconsin.   (more to come)
